Vistula River
The Krakow’s Vistula Boulevards (Bulwary), or the Vistula development, built to provide protection from floods, extend from the estuary of the Wilga River to the Kotlarski Bridge. They were built at the beginning of the 20th century and reloading areas and landings started to appear on both sides of the Vistula right afterwards.
Bulwary is a favorite place for walks and picnics for the residents of Krakow. For those who want to spend a little more time here, our comfortable Lemir Apartments located in the center of Krakow may be useful. The picturesque Vistula bank alleys, bicycle paths and lawns at the foot of Wawel attract crowds of Krakow inhabitants and tourists on hot summer days. The fire-breathing figure of the Wawel Dragon arouses great interest. An additional attraction in this part of the city is the Retoryka street with its beautiful Art Nouveau buildings, erected after backfilling the Rudawa river bed.
Bulwary are located in the very heart of the city, where you can enjoy delicious food (including in one of the floating restaurants) and find comfortable accommodation. When it comes to luxury apartments, Krakow has much to offer. We encourage you to spend time in this charming part of the city!
